Reconstitution Dissolved in sterile water, it is recommended to add 0.1% HSA or BSA for long-term preservation. STORAGE Stability and Storage 12 months from date of receipt at -20°C to -70°C. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for almost 6 months (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage. BACKGROUND Interleukin 16, also named lymphocyte chemoattractant factor (LCF), was originally identified as a CD8+ T-cell-derived chemoattractant for CD4+ cells. IL-16 is a pleiotropic cytokine that functions as a chemoattractant, a modulator of T cell activation, and an inhibitor of HIV replication. IL-16 stimulates a migratory response in cd4+ lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils. IL-16 functions exclusively attributed to the secreted C-terminal peptide, while the N-terminal product may play a role in cell cycle control. The roduct of IL16 undergoes proteolytic processing, which is found to yield two unctional proteins. IL-16 precursor protein has been detected in the lysates of various cells including mitogen stimulated PBMCs. The biological activities ascribed to IL-16 are reported to be dependent on the cell surface expression of CD4, suggesting that IL-16 is a CD4 ligand. Data SDS-PAGE Bioactivity Recombinant Mouse IL-16 Protein was determined by SDS-PAGE with Coomassie Blue, showing a band at 18-20 kDa. Fully biologically active determined by the dose dependent migration of THP-1 monocytes, The ED50 for this effect is typically 20 ng\/mL.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"xfnano","offers":[{"title":"10 μg IL-16, IL16, LCF, NIL16, prIL-16, PRIL16 105994 \/ Store at -20°C \/ 365days","offer_id":57280521339258,"sku":"105994","price":125.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"100 μg IL-16, IL16, LCF, NIL16, prIL-16, PRIL16 105995 \/ Store at -20°C \/ 365days","offer_id":57280521372026,"sku":"105995","price":640.63,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"500 μg IL-16, IL16, LCF, NIL16, prIL-16, PRIL16 105996 \/ Store at -20°C \/ 365days","offer_id":57280521404794,"sku":"105996","price":1723.44,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0907\/3606\/6938\/files\/1_27871cef-ce01-415a-9a0e-d29d5e516d17.png?v=1780024497","url":"https:\/\/chinanano.com\/es\/products\/recombinant-mouse-il-16-protein-his-tag","provider":"xfnano","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
