This product contains amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other components required for cell culture, but does not contain proteins or growth factors, according to the type of cells need to add 5-10% serum or serum-free additives to use. This product is filtered by 0.1 μm membrane to remove bacteria, pH 7.0-7.4, containing 11.1 mM D-glucose, adding 2.05 mM L-alanyl-L-glutamine, with phenol red indicator, does not contain sodium pyruvate, does not contain HEPES buffer system. L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine, a cell culture additive, replaces medium moles of L-Glutamine in cell culture media. The substance is very stable in aqueous solution and does not degrade spontaneously, but is slowly degraded by a peptidase secreted by cells to release glutamine, which is then taken up and utilized by the cells.
