Product Name
Name:Co3O4 nanoparticles
Product Overview
Cobalt tetroxide belongs to transition metal oxides, which are in powder form and generally appear gray black or black in color. Its molecular weight is 240.8, density is 6.11cm2/g, and melting point is 895 ¡ãC At room temperature, cobalt trioxide material is insoluble in water. When the temperature reaches above 900 ¡ãC cobalt trioxide (Co3O4) decomposes into cobalt trioxide (Co2O3) and cobalt oxide (CoO), and the final products will stabilize into CoO. Meanwhile, cobalt trioxide is also a p-type semiconductor and antiferromagnetic material with a bandgap width of 1.5 eV. Co3O4 is a spinel type oxide with a lattice parameter of approximately 0.809nm. There are three methods for preparing cobalt trioxide based on the physical state of the required cobalt source: solid-phase method, gas-phase method, and liquid-phase method.
