Product Overview

Silicon dioxide surface modification can reduce the surface energy, improve dispersion and increase compatibility with the substrate. Nanosilica surface is rich in silica hydroxyl, modification modification methods, mainly divided into physical modification and chemical modification of two categories. Physical modification is mainly through electrostatic adsorption, coating and coating and other physical effects on the surface of the particle modification; chemical modification that is, through the inorganic particles of silica hydroxyl and the chemical reaction between the modifier, to change the surface structure of the silica particles, to achieve the purpose of surface modification. For example, it is used to manufacture high-strength engineering plastic parts, or to improve the tear resistance of rubber. 

Paints and coatings: Improve the adhesion, weatherability and corrosion resistance of paints. For example, in automotive coatings, to enhance the bonding between the coating and the metal substrate, and to extend the service life of the coating. 

Adhesives: Improve the bonding strength and durability of adhesives. In structural adhesives, to ensure that the bonded joints can still maintain good performance in harsh environments. 

Electronic materials: used in the preparation of electronic packaging materials to improve their thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties.
