Product Name
Name: BSA-Au nanoclusters
Product Overview
Bovine serum albumin-modified gold nanoclusters (BSA-Au NCs) is a nanomaterial that combines gold nanoclusters and bovine serum albumin (BSA). It is composed of several to dozens of gold atoms to form gold nanoclusters. At the core, bovine serum albumin (BSA) serves as a protective ligand, wrapped on the surface of gold nanoclusters. BSA-Au NCs are widely used due to their high luminescence properties and stability over a wide pH range. When Au(III) ions are introduced into the BSA solution, BSA acts as a scaffold protein to isolate and capture Au ions, similar to the biomineralization behavior of organisms in nature for inorganic ions. Then, the trapped Au ions were reduced in situ by BSA to form Au NCs, and the synthesized Au NCs were prepared by 25
-Composed of Au atoms, stable in BSA as BSA-AuNCs, showing strong red fluorescence. BSA-Au NCs have good biocompatibility and easy surface modification or functionalization, making them more attractive in many biomedical applications.

Product Features
Optical properties: BSA-Au NCs have fluorescence properties that depend on their own size, and their emission spectrum can be adjusted with changes in particle size and composition. This makes them have broad application potential in biological imaging, fluorescent probes and other fields.
Stability: Due to the wrapping effect of BSA, BSA-Au NCs show high stability in physiological environments and are not prone to aggregation or degradation.
Biocompatibility: As a natural protein, BSA has good biocompatibility. This makes the application of BSA-Au NCs in the biomedical field safer and more effective.
Application Fields
Biological imaging: Taking advantage of its excellent fluorescence properties, BSA-Au NCs can be used as biological imaging probes for cell imaging, tissue imaging, tumor imaging, etc.
Drug delivery: As drug carriers, BSA-Au NCs can accurately deliver drugs to diseased sites, improving therapeutic effects and reducing side effects.
Biosensing: The fluorescence properties of BSA-Au NCs can also be used to construct biosensors for detecting biomolecules, ions and other targets.
