Product Name
Name:PEI stabilized gold nanoclusters
Product Overview
Polyethylene imine stabilized gold nanoclusters (PEI Au NCs) are a type of nanomaterial that combines gold nanoclusters with polyethyleneimine, consisting of several to dozens of gold atoms that form the core of the gold nanoclusters. Polyethylene imine (PEI) is a positively charged hyperbranched polyamine selected as a capping agent that wraps around the surface of the gold nanoclusters. PEI Au NCs have been widely used due to their high luminescence properties and stability over a wide pH range. PEI Au NCs have good biocompatibility, easy surface modification or functionalization, making them more attractive in many biomedical applications.

Product Features
1) Optical properties: PEI Au NCs have fluorescence properties that depend on their own size, which makes them widely applicable in fields such as biological imaging and fluorescent probes.
2) Stability: Due to the encapsulation effect of PEI, PEI Au NCs exhibit high stability in physiological environments and are not prone to aggregation or degradation.
3) Positivity: Polyethyleneimine is a positively charged hyperbranched polyamine that exists on the surface of gold nanoclusters, making PEI Au NCs easy to bind with negatively charged materials.
Application Fields
1) Biological imaging: PEI AuNCs, as fluorescent nanomaterials, can be used for cell imaging, tissue imaging, and tumor imaging.
2) Drug delivery: PEI AuNCs can also serve as drug delivery systems due to their easily modifiable nature.
3) Chemical testing: PEI AuNCs have sensitive detection capabilities for certain chemical substances, making them suitable for fields such as environmental monitoring, food safety, and biomarker detection.
