Product Name
Name :Ni Coated Multi-walled carbon nanotubes 10-20 nm
Product Overview
Nickel-coated carbon nanotubes is a composite material composed of carbon nanotubes and nickel, wherein nickel is uniformly coated on the surface of carbon nanotubes. Generally, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, as reinforcement materials, have very high axial tensile strength and elastic modulus, and have excellent properties such as low density, good chemical stability and high temperature resistance. CNTS can effectively improve the strength, hardness, wear resistance and thermal stability of the matrix material. However, carbon nanotubes are prone to entanglement and agglomeration, and the surface structure of carbon nanotubes is almost complete, with only a small number of active groups, resulting in low reactivity and poor wettability with metal matrix. The results show that ultrasonic dispersion and nickel plating can effectively improve the dispersion and surface activity of carbon nanotubes. CNTS are a very effective metal-based alloy reinforcement. A layer of metal nickel was successfully plated on the surface of carbon nanotubes by electroless plating, which enhanced the dispersion in the metal matrix.

Product characteristics
High catalytic activity: Nickel nanoparticles, as the active center of the catalyst, have excellent catalytic performance. The catalytic activity of nickel nanoparticles is further improved under the support of multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which can catalyze a variety of chemical reactions.
Stability and dispersion: The structure of multi-walled carbon nanotubes helps to improve the stability and dispersion of the catalyst, preventing the agglomeration and deactivation of nickel nanoparticles, thereby extending the service life of the catalyst.
High electrical conductivity: multi-walled carbon nanotubes themselves have good electrical conductivity, and the addition of nickel nanoparticles may further enhance their electrical conductivity, making nickel-coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes have a wide range of applications in electrochemical electrode materials, such as fuel cells, capacitors and so on.
