Chitosan (CS) is a positively charged polysaccharide deacetylated from chitin, and its molecule consists of randomly distributed D-glucosamine and N-acetylglucosamine structural units linked by α-1,4 glycosidic bonding.CS and its derivatives have good biocompatibility, antimicrobial, and degradation properties, and have been widely used in the fields of biotissue engineering, pharmaceutical development, and so on.
Chitosan with methacryloylation (CSMA) is a light-curing ability of chitosan by introducing methacryl groups into its molecular chain. CSMA products are launched by XF Nano team, which have passed strict raw material selection and quality testing, and have stable physicochemical properties, curing into a gel within 10 seconds under visible light irradiation, good biocompatibility, and strong material scalability, providing a variety of visco-elastic properties to adapt to different application areas. CSMA can be used with GelMA, HAMA and other hydrogels to better simulate the microenvironment of bone, cartilage, skin and other tissues in vivo, and to obtain better cell 3D culture and bio-ink formulation.
