Product Name
Nano copper colloid
Product Overview
Copper nanocolloid, also known as colloidal copper nanoparticles or copper nanodispersion, is a new material with a wide range of applications. Its particle size is less than 20 nm and its appearance is black liquid. Due to their unique physicochemical properties, copper nanocolloids are widely used in catalysis, magnetic fluids, biomedicine and lubrication. This copper nanocolloid is prepared by sol-gel method, the solvent is water, and the surface has PVP as a protective agent, which is not easy to oxidise.
Technical Parameter
Diameter: 5-10 nm
concentration: 3.2g/L
Product Features
Small particle size: the particle size of copper nanocolloid is less than 20nm, which makes it has excellent penetration and can contact the reactive substances faster, thus improving the chemical reaction rate.
Good dispersion: When the concentration of stabilising dispersant is high enough, copper nanocolloid particles are uniform in size, well dispersed and effective in preventing agglomeration.
Efficient catalysis: Due to their small particle size and good dispersibility, copper nanocolloids excel in catalysis, accelerating a wide range of chemical reactions.
Excellent heat transfer: The high thermal conductivity of copper nanocolloids makes them very effective in heat dissipation applications, such as cooling of electronic devices.
Application Fields
Catalysis: Copper nanocolloids are used as catalysts in industrial processes to improve reaction efficiency and selectivity. For example, in some organic synthesis processes, copper nanocolloids can significantly accelerate the reaction rate and improve product selectivity.
Lubrication: The use of copper nanocolloids in lubrication materials can significantly improve the performance of friction interfaces, reducing wear and extending equipment life. For example, the addition of copper nanocolloids to high-performance bearings and gears can significantly improve their wear resistance and fatigue resistance.
Biomedical field: Copper (Cu), as an important trace element in the human body, has been reported to stimulate the proliferation of osteoblasts, and may also provide antibacterial ability to its surface.
