Product Name
Nano Titanium dioxide
Product Overview
Titanium dioxide is a polycrystalline compound, there are three crystalline forms in nature: Rutile, Anatase and Brookite. Rutile and anatase belong to the tetragonal crystal system, but they have different crystal lattices, so the X diffraction images are different, the diffraction angle (2θ) of anatase titanium dioxide is located at 25.5°, and that of rutile titanium dioxide is located at 27.5°. Rutile-type crystals are elongated, prismatic crystals, and usually twinned, while anatase-type generally approximate regular octahedra. Due to the different structures of anatase, plagioclase and rutile, the stability is different. plagioclase and anatase are low-temperature phases, rutile is a high-temperature phase, and the first two can be transformed into rutile at temperatures of more than 600 degrees Celsius. each crystal type of TiO2 exhibits different properties. The anatase and rutile TiO2 nanoparticles are used in catalysts, solar energy conversion, functional ceramics, humidity and high-temperature oxygen sensitive components, cosmetics and inorganic membranes. The anatase TiO2 is stable and has higher hardness, density, dielectric constant and refractive index, thus it has more important applications in advanced coatings, cosmetics and electronic ceramics.

Product Features
Photocatalytic performance: When absorbing photons of a certain wavelength, electrons in the valence band are excited to the conduction band, forming negatively charged highly active holes, thus realising photocatalytic reactions.
Anti-ultraviolet ability: It has strong ability to absorb ultraviolet rays and can be used in sunscreen skin care cosmetics.
Anti-bacterial and anti-mould: It has good anti-bacterial effect, which can kill bacteria, fungi and moulds, and remove their remains and toxins in the body completely.
Thermal stability: It has good thermal and chemical stability.
Photoelectric effect: Due to its wide bandgap semiconductor nature, it exhibits quantum limiting effect and high absorption coefficient, which is suitable for photodiodes, sensors and other photoelectric devices.
Application Fields
Environmental protection: for air purification, deodorisation, disinfection and sterilisation. For example, P25 nano titanium dioxide is excellent in air purification and can effectively decompose organic pollutants in the air.
Building materials: as a paint additive, it creates antibacterial and antifouling coatings that are bactericidal, antifouling and self-cleaning, and can be applied in bacteria-intensive areas such as hospital wards, operating theatres and family bathrooms.
Energy materials: Used as raw material for solar cells to improve photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Sensors: Used to detect a variety of gases, such as H2, CO and other combustible gases and O2, especially in automotive exhaust gas sensors are widely used.
Medicine and food: as food additives and drug carriers, with antibacterial and antioxidant effects.
