Application Fields
ZSM-5 molecular sieve is the mother of many kinds of catalysts in petrochemical, fine chemical and other industries, and has a wide range of applications in the petroleum industry, for example:
Diesel Pro-Hydrogen Condensation Reduction: ZSM-5 molecular sieve can be used in the process of diesel pro-hydrogen condensation reduction, through the catalytic reaction to reduce the freezing point of diesel, improve the low temperature fluidity of diesel.
Fixed-bed catalytic cracking: In fixed-bed catalytic cracking reaction, ZSM-5 molecular sieve can be used as the active component of the catalyst to promote the cracking and conversion of hydrocarbons, and improve the yield of gasoline and diesel.
Fluidised bed catalytic cracking: ZSM-5 molecular sieves can also be used in fluidised bed catalytic cracking reactions to improve reaction efficiency and product selectivity.
Benzene and methanol alkylation: MFI zeolites, represented by ZSM-5 zeolites, are widely used in the alkylation of benzene and methanol for the production of toluene and xylene.
Other applications: ZSM-5 molecular sieves also play a catalytic role in the chemical industry, such as p-diethylbenzene, xylene isomerisation, etc.; in environmental protection, high silica ZSM-5 molecular sieves can be used for the extraction of organic matter in water.
