Product Overview

Near-infrared two-region (NIR-II) fluorescent molecules are a class of molecules with remarkable fluorescence properties in the near-infrared two-region in the wavelength range of 1000-1700 nm. The light in this spectral region has a small scattering and large penetration ability in biological tissues, so the NIR-II fluorescent molecules have a wide range of applications in bio-imaging, medical diagnostics, etc. The two materials XFAI06 and XFAI07 are NIR-II fluorescent molecules in their own right, but due to their aggregation-induced luminescence properties, they can also be called AIE molecules. If you need to use the direction of aggregation-induced luminescence in your article, you can choose these two products, which are good choices for in vivo functional imaging of large animals, including in vivo vascular micro-imaging of the rat brain in large depths, visualisation of stroke imaging and imaging of major organs (gastrointestinal tract and bladder).

Technical Parameter

Appearance :Brown black powder

UV absorption peak :~650nm

Fluorescence peak: ~1000nm

Product Features

Low Scattering & Strong Penetration: Compared to the Near Infrared-I region (NIR-I), NIR-II light has a lower scattering effect and longer attenuation length in biological tissues, thus enabling deeper penetration into tissues for higher resolution imaging.

High signal-to-noise ratio: Autofluorescence in the NIR-II region is almost negligible, which greatly improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the imaging, resulting in clearer images.

Good biocompatibility: Many NIR-II fluorescent molecules are biocompatible and can be rapidly metabolised in the body, reducing toxicity to the organism.

Application Fields

Bio-imaging: NIR-II fluorescence imaging technology can overcome the problems of strong tissue absorption, high scattering and autofluorescence, and significantly improve the spatio-temporal resolution, signal-to-noise ratio and penetration depth of imaging. In the fields of brain science, oncology, cardiovascular disease, etc., NIR-II fluorescence imaging technology provides powerful support for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Medical diagnosis: By designing specific NIR-II fluorescent molecules, it is possible to achieve highly sensitive and specific detection of specific molecules or cells in organisms. For example, using activated NIR-II small molecules to generate specific fluorescent signals under the activation of specific biomarkers can greatly enhance the accuracy and reliability of detection.
