Boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) are two-dimensional nanomaterials with unique structure and properties. A graphite-like layered structure is formed by boron (B) and nitrogen (N) atoms bonded through covalent bonds. The layers interact with each other through weak van der Waals forces. Boron nitride nanosheets are good insulators with low conductivity, excellent electrical insulators, and are effective in transferring heat.
