Product Name
Carbon nitride dispersion
Product Overview
Graphite-phase carbon nitride (g-C3N4) is a new type of material consisting of carbon and nitrogen atoms, whose crystal structure is similar to the layered structure of two-dimensional graphite, but with higher stability and unique physical and chemical properties. Graphite-phase carbon nitride is the most stable of the carbon nitride isomers, with ultra-high strength and chemical inertness, which can make up for the shortcomings of poor thermal stability of diamond. Graphite-phase carbon nitride is a typical polymer semiconductor, in which C and N atoms in the structure are sp2 hybridised to form a highly exotic π-conjugated system, and strong covalent bonds are formed between C and N, which builds up a special conjugated system of benzene-like rings and has good stability. This graphite phase carbon nitride, with a two-dimensional lamellar structure, is prepared by pyrolytic polycondensation using nitrogen-rich compounds as precursors. This method is easy to operate, has a high yield, and the structure of the product is easy to control, making it a highly promising material with (theoretically) higher carrier separation efficiency, more reactive active sites, and stronger light trapping and redox capabilities due to its unique two-dimensional lamellar structure.

Product Features
1. Electrical properties: graphite phase carbon nitride has superior electrical properties, its conductivity can be controlled by both electron and hole concentration, so it can exhibit the properties of a reduced semiconductor under specific conditions;
2. Optical properties: with a suitable forbidden band width (Eg = 2.7 - 2.8 eV), they show better visible light absorption than most metal oxides;
3. Thermal properties: as a high-temperature stable phase material, graphite-phase carbon nitride maintains good performance under high-temperature environment;
4. Catalytic performance: with excellent photocatalytic ability, (theoretically) it can be used for photolysis of water to produce hydrogen, photolysis of CO2, photolysis of harmful gases and photolysis of organic pollutants;
5. Reactivity: in the field of batteries, graphite phase carbon nitride can (theoretically) be modified or compounded with other materials to improve the performance and stability of batteries.
Application Fields
1. Supercapacitor: It can be used as electrode material for supercapacitor by using its superior electrical performance and stability;
2. Lithium-ion batteries: by compounding with other materials, it can improve the capacity and cycle stability of lithium-ion batteries;
3. Photocatalysts: widely used in the field of photocatalysis, which can be used for environmental purification and energy conversion;
