Degummed silk is silk that has been treated to remove silk glue.
The silk provided by Xianfeng Nano utilizes protease to decompose silk glue. The enzyme has specificity and mildness, and can selectively remove silk glue under mild conditions, with less damage to the silk pigment, and with better environmental performance. Degummed silk has high hygroscopicity and can absorb moisture in the air; due to the removal of silk glue that hinders the absorption of dyes, degummed silk is easier to dye, and the dyeing is uniform.
