Product Name
Name: Dextran Methacryloyl
Product Overview
Dextran is a homopolysaccharide composed of glucose as a monosaccharide, and the glucose units are connected by glycosidic bonds. It can be divided into α-glucan and β-glucan according to the type of glycosidic bond. The hydroxyl group on the side chain can be easily chemically modified to obtain multifunctional active glucan derivatives. Compared with other polysaccharides, Dextran can be slowly degraded by biological enzymes in the body, and can also be broken down by dextran cleavage by microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract.
Dextran Methacryloyl (DexMA) is a dextran with light-curing ability by introducing methacryl groups into the dextran molecular chain. The DexMA products launched by XFNano team have passed strict raw material selection and quality testing, and have stable physical and chemical properties, which can be cured into adhesive within 10 seconds under visible light irradiation. Due to its excellent water solubility, good biocompatibility and resistance to non-specific protein adsorption, DexMA-based material systems have been widely used in biomedical fields, such as reducing the formation of blood clots in blood vessels, lowering blood viscosity and drug delivery.
