Fluorinated graphene is a novel carbon/graphite material with excellent performance and unique quality. It is a compound formed by covalent bonding between fluorine atoms and carbon atoms that form a network plane. Its chemical structural formula can be represented by (CFx) n. The properties of fluorinated graphene vary with the ratio of C/F atoms in the molecular structure. Fluorinated graphene with a C/F ratio of ¡ãC1 has excellent thermal stability and is an insulator for both electricity and heat. It is not corroded by strong acids and bases and has better lubrication performance than MoS2 and flake graphite.
