Transition metal chalcogenides (TMDs) such as MoS2 and WS2 have attracted widespread attention due to their unique properties and enormous potential. In these crystals, strong in-plane bonds and weak van der Waals forces keep the layers together. In current work, two or more layered materials are further alloyed into novel layered materials with adjustable properties, making it possible to manufacture new heterostructures. Molybdenum tungsten sulfur dispersion is prepared by lithium intercalation method, and the powder is obtained by freeze-drying the dispersion, which is the same as the preparation method of lithium intercalated molybdenum disulfide and tungsten disulfide available for sale.
