Product Name
Name :Resin dispersant
Product Overview
The dispersion of carbon materials in polymers is indeed a challenging problem, mainly due to the high specific surface area, high surface energy and strong interaction between carbon materials (such as carbon nanotubes, graphene, etc.), which lead to their easy agglomeration and difficult to achieve uniform dispersion in the polymer matrix. In order to overcome this difficulty, resin dispersants and various dispersion methods are widely used to improve the dispersion of carbon materials in polymers. This product helps to improve the dispersion of carbon materials in resin systems such as oil-based and UV systems.
Technical Parameter
Appearance: yellow viscous liquid
Non-volatile: 99±1%
Specific gravity: 0.98g/cm3
PH : ~3
Product Features
Reduce surface tension: The resin dispersant can reduce the surface tension between the surface of the carbon material and the polymer matrix, so that the carbon material is easier to be wet and wrapped by the polymer matrix.
Steric effect: part of the resin dispersant can be adsorbed on the surface of the carbon material to form a protective layer, which prevents the agglomeration between the particles of the carbon material through the steric effect.
Charge stabilization: Some resin dispersants are charged, can be adsorbed on the surface of carbon materials and give it a certain charge, and maintain the dispersion of carbon material particles through charge repulsion.
Application Fields
The dispersant contains 100% active substance, is a polymer dispersant containing acid groups, suitable for oil, UV system and other resin systems. For inorganic pigments (such as carbon materials, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, etc.), it has excellent wetting dispersion and viscosity reduction effect, and improves the leveling property of the product. At the same time, it has excellent anti-flocculation effect, which can make the product obtain high gloss, improve the color intensity, and have good compatibility with other resin pigment systems. The amount of dispersant is 0.5-3wt% of the inorganic filler. The method of use is to mix the dispersant and resin system first, and then add the inorganic filler to ultrasonic or grinding.
